This dressing room wasn’t actually part of our original brief!
We were contracted to design, manufacture and install the client’s kitchen, pantry, boot room & laundry room as part of a full home renovation in Mottram, Cheshire, when the client received drawings back from other supplier for their dressing room. Whilst the design worked from a practical point of view, it lacked the wow factor so we were asked to take a look and see what we could come up with.
Working closely together, we completely reimagined the room, creating a dressing space that felt far more personal, luxurious and bespoke. From the elegant arched wardrobes and illuminated reeded glass display cabinets to the bespoke dressing table and quartz topped island, every detail was carefully considered to maximise both storage and visual impact.
One of the biggest advantages of truly bespoke furniture is the ability to design around the room rather than making the room fit the furniture. Every cabinet, drawer and display area was handcrafted in our Lymm, Cheshire workshop before being carefully installed by our team, ensuring the finished room feels both beautiful and effortless to use.
Finished in ‘Hornblende’ by Paint & Paper Library with dark brushed brass handles from Hendel & Hendel, the completed dressing room feels sophisticated, timeless and completely at home within the property.
Most importantly, it now has the wow factor that was missing from the original design.
Projects like this are a great reminder that good design isn’t just about fitting storage into a room. It’s about creating a space that feels special every time you walk in it.
